Good IDE to do AJAX

ThinkCAP is a good software to create some web applications compliant AJAX. I wondered if these kind of tools can be an alternative for ATLAS from Microsoft. I will do some tests but I think already that ATLAS is better (.NET compliant & Visual Studio integration) and maybe more easy to learn.
